Dumbarton

I've been going up to Dumbarton a fair bit with the boys from the wall recently, and its safe to say that I may be getting a bit of dumby fever. I'm not saying that its a place traveling miles to get to, though as a local crag its appeal after the first trip has certainly grown on me. I imagine in the next few weeks this will get a bit more too as Historic Scotland are planning to clean off some of the graffiti, interestingly leaving some of the more 'historic stuff' up. I personally quite like the idea of this as some has grown on me. I don't know of yet what will be left up though so that would be interesting.

The weather over the last few weekends has been outstanding high pressure systems bringing dry and windless conditions, allowing for t-shirt climbing after midday when the sun hits the rock. I've done a fair few problems over my various trips and coincidentally meeting various friends; once surprisingly bumping into Mike and Simmy from Dundee. However I now have one bug bearer with the problem Consolidated, as I am able to do all but two moves which I can still not fathom out! So close but so far. Hopefully one day soon.

I say the weather was good, though one day it did do this whilst I was there...

Tea under a rock anyone?
